I've been thinking about getting another PAM.. and I'm not sure if I want to get a PAM 112 or get a PAM 312. Is having the in-house movement of the PAM 312 worth the extra scratch? Or maybe its the only way to go. How is the 1950's case in the 44mm size? I haven't had the opportunity to try one on yet. |

i had a 233 and unlike most i didn't care much for the 1950's casing and domed crystal. made the dial looks smaller/compact and distorted the hour numbers...felt weird to me. i like the 312 with the flatter crystal, it might be too thick tho? not sure i'd want an automatic panerai either but that might be a bonus to some with the inhouse movement. having said all that the 312 certainly have a more updated modern design feel to it imo with the date/auto/inhouse mvmt etc. if ur wrist can handle the extra thickness i'd say it's worth it. |

Thanks for the tips! I will probably go try them on... There are many subtle differences that will probably affect the way I feel about the watches it sounds like. |
