LPV Bespoke Leather luxury watch straps are hand made in Vietnam from high-grade materials. The crocodile used on these premium straps is genuine crocodile, and not the inferior caiman croc that many use, and they are well-crafted and well-executed pieces of kit. While they are located in Vietnam, they are not like the bulk of Asian strapmakers that cater to the budget strap crowd, but rather the man of distinction who appreciates a quality product, regardless of where it is made.

The strap I am reviewing today is the Anticatura Godiva Brown, from their Anticatura hand-painted collection. These are some of their mode affordable and popular straps, clocking in at a cool $160USD - not bad for a genuine crocodile strap. I've paid more for leather! You can tell from this close-up shot that the painted finish is superb, and looks awesome. The golden brown stitching also looks great with it, matching the lighter parts.

The hide does have quite a bit of sheen to it, more than I generally like, though its not over-the-top . I would have preferred it if it were as shiny as an OEM Alligator from Panerai but this is still quite okay and will dress up the watch quite a bit.

Here you can see how the strap is padded and gives you a bit of that OEM feel to it, which is a nice change sometimes from the more linear style of construction that you see most strapmakers using. Its a light padding and just adds a bit of that sophistication to the strap. Most strapmakers don't even offer padding as an option so its nice to see some that do.

And finally, the lining is a odor resistant black calf leather that finishes it all off. It is stamped with the LPV monogram near the lugs on both pieces of the strap, but not too deeply. I think a deeper stamp might help make it look slightly more professional but it gets the job done. This is still one of the best deals out there in a genuine crocodile strap, and is made with good quality hide.
