Hi, I am new to this whole Panerai thing, although I have admired the watches on websites and magazines for years. The opportunity arose recently to purchase a PAM 00279 – brand new from a dealer in the Middle East. I have a couple of questions – some of which may be just plain dumb – but forgive me. As I said earlier I am new to this whole watch thing. What do I have to maintain the watch in A1 condition? What do I have to do if I don’t wear the watch for a month or so – do I need a watch winder? Does the watch sitting idle for an extended period of time damage it in anyway? What does the automatic refer to with regard to this watch? Thanks in advance Nigel |
