my straps came in today, and wow...not sure what my initial thoughts are, gotta let it sink in for a couple days...but so far: 1. UGH first time changing straps kinda suck...some slippage 2. i got the 26/26mm vetier 120/80 about 4mm thick. ok the 26/26 is nice, but my wrist is on the smaller size at 6 3/4" so the 4mm thickness gives it a real bulk at the buckle (later pic will demonstrate this). alot of people likes extra long strap like 135/85 or even 150/90. i'm GLAD this thing is only 120/80 as i think the current strap kinda dwarfs the 45mm radiomir as is. add in the extra large SC polished buckle and the watch takes a backseat...which is not the objective. i'm hoping with some wear the strap will break in nicely and not be so stiff and stand out so much with relation to the watch. overall i'm happy but it'd be perfect if the strap was about 3mm thick and i can add a few more mms to the tail/length. the strap thickness wrt the watch the HUGE SC buckle forget about a button shirt wristy |

Well it seems to me that you're swimming against the tide here members of 'certain' fora cry out for straps that are so long you could hold your trousers up with the bit left over...! I just can't see the point... I'm not particularly keen on the strap you've shown (Sorry!!) - I'd go for a brown or black croco, but then I know I'm in a minority of one - the watch is sublime (lucky bloke) though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the other strap. |

SB i'm not a big fan of croc straps, too much layer and texture for me. the smooth calf works just fine. i also think the color will age nicely with time. i can't stand black straps, that's why i'm going to change out the pam233 when i get that back (will put up more horrifying pics when i do ). i'm glad we have different opinions or all our watches would look the same |

You're right - I'm simply stating my opinion - glad you didn't take it personally (Some people are just so damn sensitive) !! |

hmm nothing there to get offended by SB, but if you're bothered by my strap you can always send me another and i'll gladly put it on and take some pics for u a few days later and i'm very happy with the strap, maybe a shade darker would set it off but it's fine as is. |
