Here is just a 42y old watch enthusiast out of the Netherlands. i am digging some info before buying my 2nd Panerai and looking for some help before I Am wiring a few quid.
I am at the point of buying a Pam 88 but although the seller is really helpful sending me good pics, And I am familiar with some Panerai, I still have some doubts.
Reasons I doubt:
No box, no papers
Year designator is missing
Case number is there
Serial number is there
Year designator missing
Production number missing
It's an early 88, I know that. Quick Strap change feature is missing. Dial looks Pam, date looks Pam, crown guard looks Pam. So is there anyone out there who can give me some information please.
I am at the point to wire some dough but I thought that it would be better to ask first. Afterwards is always too late. And too late is not really a watch enthusiast thing.
So please let me know something.
