I was just given a nice 2003 Panerai PAM 48 (40mm) and I'm looking for guidance from others in the forum who may have experience with their watches for servicing--I'm assuming it's never been serviced so probably a good idea but I'd much prefer to go to an independent and experienced small business rather than the mother-ship (unless advised otherwise). Washington, DC-based would be preferred but open to all suggestions.

Thanks to all for taking the time and a very happy holiday--this is a great forum.

One of our advertisers on Breitlingsource seems to do a fair bit of Panerai servicing and is located in Florida but I think he has some guys that work for him all over the place. You can give him a call - its Jeff Herman at Watchrepair.net
