Well I wish you luck with the 190 - in terms of Radiomir that's my Grail - but finding one at the 'right' price is going to be the problem...

Well, here's another question. :)

I compared the sapphire glass of the Rolex and the Panerai. What I've noticed is that the glass from the Rolex is more smooth than Panerai's.

The one from Panerai feels more like real glass and is more "stiff" when I rub it with my finger or nails. I also thought that there was still a sticker/plastic on it! But couldn't peel anything off!

Do they come with a sticker/plastic on the glass? Or could it be the anti reflex layer?

ps: Sportback, are you the guy who's reviewing on youtube?

Youtube? No mate, not me...sorry.

As for the glass, there is indeed an antireflective coating on both sides of the crystal. Can't say I've ever noticed a particular 'feel' for it though.

I'm not sure what coatings Rolex employ, and whether or not they're on the inside, the outside or both.

I once saw a Panerai photo showing the difference between coated and uncoated crystal - I'll try to dig it up.

It might be worth considering starting a new subject for each of your (very interesting) questions - it gives the other people who visit a better idea of where to look - and you don't have to keep reading all of a long post to find the content. Just a thought...
