As a newbie, can someone kindly let me know what is the best way to check the accuracy of your Panerai?

How do you check it's timing to ensure it 'keeps' accurate time?

Thanks

Firstly don't expect too much, none will be as accurate as a quartz pirce and if you start fretting too much over accuracy, it will spoil your enjoyment of the watch.

There are numerous accurate time source to use as a check, i favour this one http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-z ... ndon/time/

Obviously you'll need to select your local time-zone ;)

mine is accurate within a few seconds a week....not like a quartz watch but pretty darn close. i use timeanddate.com to check a few times a month.

Glance at my celly once or twice a week. If it's close, I'm happy. Can't have ridiculous standards for a manual non-COSC piece. You'll drive yourself nuts.
