I went to my AD to pick up a 312, but really liked the 320 and went with it instead. Very happy. Love it.

Never owned a 320 but own and love the 312. 320 is just as awesome, with the added gmt function, I would ask do I need the gmt function or not.

Thanks for replies so far folks, good question, is it worth the extra for gmt, does it make the watch look better and of course more of a statement?

The 320 does have a couple of nice extra tricks as well as the GMT function over the 312. It has a PR indicator on the back and the very useful 'seconds reset' function to justify the additional cost.

IMO none of those features are necessary but they are nice 8-)

I thought the 312 had power indicator on the back as well and assumed only difference was the gmt. Am I wrong?

I'm afraid you are. There is no PR indicator or seconds re-set on the 312. Check out the Panerai website specifications.

That settles it 320 sounds better.

Anyone know anything about watch harbour, they are brokers so assume not AD.

Thanks

I know I am being biased, but I prefer the layout of the dial on the 312 Luminor marina whereas the 320 is luminor GMT. I am sure you will enjoy the 320 though, good choice.

1 vote for 312, i find the extra gmt function (especially when you do not use it) not so attractive on a pam (which should be simple). of course, its your preference ;)

I love my 320, but was in the search for a 312 initially. Both are great IMO.

I have a 351. Basically the same as a 312 except for a TI case and Tobacco dial. I tried the 320 on before I bought the 351. The power reserve function on the 320 was pretty cool; however, it is on the movement, not on the dial, & it only has a 3 day reserve anyway. Either one is a great looking watch that you'll be happy with. If a power reserve function was my deal breaker, I'd go with a 233.
