yea it's one of those questions again...boohoo me i know :P

i bought a 233 mainly as a stopgap for the 190...and i guess i was caught up in the hype. well ever since i got the 190 (which is just awesome!!!) i've really no use for the 233. everything i love about the 190 (radiomir/sandwich/case/crown/size/overall look and feel) is just not there with the 233, except the sandwich dial. everyone else raves about the domed crystal and the 1950 case, or the crown guard...and that's just not my thing. plus from winding a radiomir to winding a luminor with the crown guard is a real pain, especially for 8 days  .

i'm thinking of selling/trade the 233 and getting an automatic movement to balance with the manual 190. what do you guys think? while writing this post i've already gotten an offer for a iwc portuguese 5001 plus a pam 000, that's a start. or get another 190

The Port 5001 is one of the watches on my to-get list, so I would be tempted by that one.. though the 000 would end up as trade bait for me.

The 233 is a pretty sweet watch to me.. I guess i prefer the 1950's style case over the Rad.

OK, so what's 'goofy' about the 219 ??? It's one of the rarest regular production models, and it's totally different having the winding crown on the left - what more can you want ? (And why be likely everybody else...?) ;)

As I've already mentioned elsewhere (A million or so times, but there I might exagerate a little... ;) ) I love the destro simply for the fact that it IS so different.

Who wants to be like everyone else !!

As to 'sport' (dirty word) I only do things like that sitting down...and using both hands - I row!
