The in house movement models sound interesting but hardly well priced given the global climate :?

It's actually 59mm in diameter :o and I think it's better to think of it as a wall clock...the people over on BreitlingSource used to rib me for wearing "Stadium Wall Clocks" on my wrist - with this one they may have a point ;)

Quite frankly a little disappointed with the general lineup as I personally would have liked another destro model, PVD or not, and as you say the move to in-house for the contemporaries increases the price (although not by that much - about 600€. I can't personally see the point of the high top end models at all - sure, it's nice to have a Tourbillion in the range, but as a complication it's not really very useful.

One really good thing, in my opinion, is the loss of the date cyclops on the 'new' 1950s, but it seems the crystal is almost flat as well, which isn't going down well with the 'traditionalists' over on the .com

I quite like the 312/320 but my money's going on a 28 - a Panerai with a second hand! (And more importantly BLACK)

The 332 is gorgeous, as a fan of the Regattas, but 11000€ is way over the top of my budget at the moment

Just put the phone down to my AD and have booked a 320 and 312 The 28 is nice but nothing novel about it for my taste, no in house movement etc. Each to their own though. The others, well, nothing that rocked me, hence my interest is at the 'lower end'.

All the new models are now posted on the Panerai website. I can't see what is now missing, if anything?

There's some wildly conflicting press releases circulating where Panerai claim no slow down in demand, yet their parent, Richemont is approaching collapse, depending whom or what source you want to believe.

2009 could be even more interesting than i initially imagined :shock:
