You say the nicest things  (Entirely justified tho  )

Really pleased to see the deal came thru - those 'golden' hands are gorgeous and the sheer simplicity of the 190 always takes my breath away - congratulations.

One thing - can you let us (Me?) know how it keeps time? I'd like to know how the JLC movement gets on alongside the ETA's and the manifattura.

argh SB so far it's keeping horrible time. it lost just above 1sec while on my wrist for 5 hours last night but overnight it lost 5+sec in 8 hours with the crystal up. i've heard this is supposed to be a dependable movement. i'll turn it on its side today and see what happens.

conversely my 233 was only -2sec the whole day.

I'm sorry to hear that - sadly, I'm not an expert with the JLC movement, but I will ask around to see what other people know about this. There's a friend of mine here in Toulouse who has a 190 - I'll ask him.

I do know that watches often need a 'wearing in' period - there are so many things to factor in - the heat of your wrist, the length of time you wear it, climatic conditions etc. - and I know for a fact that some watches seem to take for ever to settle down (But I still haven't heard a convincing reason as to why this is.)

I'll get back to you on this. Meanwhile, enjoy wearing it - you've got to admit, it's gorgeous! (And I'm jealous!!)

thanks SB i suspect that might be the case of "re-breaking" in the watch. i've asked the previous owner if he was wearing it regularly before. i'll wear it for a couple weeks let the pr run down rewind it and see what happens. :geek: .

hopefully not the case, but if it's consistently 8-10 sec off i'll just live with it...sending it away to get serviced for 5+ months doesn't sound like fun.
