Being still a Pammy newbie, i don't understand a lot of Panerai marketing to date. I think we're all aware how car makers view these specials though, mainly a way to shift sticking stock or about to be discontinued lines. Given the 164 is hardly a best seller, perhaps this was a move to sell some growing backlog stock?
Maybe the 164 will be dropped this year, with the 104 next year deferring to the 312?
Other than that, my 'Thoughts' are to be in a sunnier place where the snow wind and rain never visit
