If you want to actually buy it on the day then good luck... Your best bet is to phone around beforehand and see if any of them have one... Any of the ADs will happily order one, but none seem to be able to give much of an idea of when they'd arrive (or indeed the price!) When I bought mine back in April, the lower end ones in particular were rare as rocking-horse doo-doo. Harrods had the best selection and the staff there are excellent. You'll pay retail almost anywhere, but they threw in a black OEM Croc and deployant when I bought mine. The other place I'd head to would be Bond Street. You've got Wempe and Watches of Switzerland who'll have a few pieces, and Burlington Arcade which will also have a few pre-owned or new watches. One place in particular (on the right as you're going towards Piccadilly, Hemmings maybe?) had quite a few when I was last there. I think retail on the 005 is £2,500 |
