Hi all,

Having damaged the bezel on my 111 today, I am considering having a replacement fitted. I will of course speak to my local dealer, but wondered whether any of you have replaced a bezel and at what cost?

Although it is a daily wearer, I would rather have it perfect. I'm expecting it to be quite a few hundred quid...

Why dont you try buffing it out before you replace it completely especially since it is a daily wearer?

Agree, if not too great a ding, will prob polish out with capecod cloth and a lot of elbow grease!

Having a go at polishing is the obvious (and least epensive!) choice. I have a cape cod on order but do fear the worst as I whacked it against a wall and it is more than a minor abrasion... I guess there is only so much you can expect from a polishing cloth!

Good point, but to be honest i have really seen any Panerai bezels for sale out there. Sorry.

You'd be surprised at what a cape cod can do, anyway, you've nothing to lose!

Thanks, I have seen sense... it is more of an everyday watch after all. I have already had a go at polishing it now so no pic sorry; it is a fair bit better now.

Anyway, new Toshi strap arriving tomorrow for a different watch, so looking forward to that. That'll be about the third in about as many months!?!

I have used the cape code to erase minor signs from my Pam88 and the result was really greate.

However I would like to know if anyone knows how much would cost for the replacement of the bezel (44mm-luminor) since I did a 'good' knock on it. Offcourse from an authorised dealer.
