Hi there, I am new to this post and well needed some advice. I read the post on Ferrari watches by Panerai and get the general consensus of how everyone feels. I have a few models including a Breilting Super Avenger but was recently offered a Ferrari 004 Granturismo Chronograph (98%) for 3k. I love the watch and think a Light brown calf would look amazing on it. I dont own a Ferrari (yet) but I figured with a retail of 8k, resale on used at roughly 5k, I figured I can always sell and get another Panerai.

What are your guys' thoughts.

$3K is a very good price, though I have to say most people do not like the Ferrari watches and feel they are mostly for Ferrari owners.

if the fer004 sings to you,why not?!!! just be sure that you really love it and won't mind the criticisms.
