hi guys, tom ill buy a pam005j it has a small ding thats almost unnoticeable and it will come with 4 leather straps.. Questions.. 1st --- is the use of cap cad cleaner is safe for a Panerai watch specially for 005 model.. 2nd --- u think 005 model will increase, decrease or just hold its value.. 3rd --- its a LNIB condition u think USD $3850 is a good price (4 leather straps, complete papers,3x box and all other stuff) sorry if new in watch specially in PAMs Thanks |

Price seems relatively fair I suppose especially if it has some good straps included, but if there's a ding, I wouldn't expect a cape cod to take it out. Cape cod cloth is fine to use on the watch, however. |

Hard to say. I usually just assume all watches will go down in Value, and buy with that assumption unless its a Special Edition of some sort. |

Not quite. If you buy a PAM90 new for $7800 today, and then go and sell it next year when the retail goes up to $8000 or something, you will still have to sell it for $5500 or something, and then you will still be out $2300. Don't know how you can make money on that. |

If you buy pre-owned, you can avoid the initial hit on the value - and then you may get lucky and have the resale go up or stay the same. |
