Hi all,
I have had my 183 since the summer and I simply love it! I love it so much that I have declined three offers for it as I believe the Rads are an elegant piece.

But lately i have had thoughts of getting a 231 and having a rose gold case, but I need the sandwich dial. In order to fund it Ill put up my 183 and my 88 for sale.

Who owns a 231 here? Id appreciate any comments or thoughts. Pictures would be a plus!

Thanks,
Roger

It's a nice watch, unusual and quite rare but a big statement going for the gold case.

If i may be so bold? It will mark very much easier being softer than steel. It will devalue quicker and harder, as very few people want one over the 210.

If you can stretch your budget, to be fair, possibly quite a way, i would seek out a used 197 which is a vastly better watch. A used 197 will be similar money to a new 231 and i know which i would go for :)

Just my opinion of course, and you did solicit them ;)

Totally agree that the 197 is a far superior watch with the JLC 8 day movement....as far as movements go it doesn't get much better than JLC! Did you all know that JLC has over 1,300 in house calibers, that's more than double the nearest compeitor.

Roger, 197 is the way to go if you can find it at the right price. You better sell another watch or two.....but not the Breguet!!!
