Picked up a 2002 PAM70E (Luminior Marina) a few weeks ago. Excellent condition. I expected a smaller watch , but it looks more like a 44mm than a 40mm. I like the blue dial and I like the cyclops; I know it lacks the basic Panerai look, but ... I have a Rolex Submariner No Date which I thought was a 44mm; the Panerai is larger! Came with the single black alligator band which I can wear, but I am on the last band hole. Already ordered a new 'gator band from panatime. Have read good things about their products and service. Will let you know how that turns out. Also, picked up a nice 2 watch leather travel case from endless.com for a song and a dance with free shipping! This is made by/for Steinhausen and the quality is quite good. I think the price will astound you. Oh, and so far, the Panerai keeps time very well certainly on par with the Rolex and the Ulysse Nardin I have. |
