As above.

Why is the Panerai brand so appealing :?: I got my first in November last year and now want a 312 already, I havent taken my zero off since I got it, all my other watches have become redundant (first time ever). I can't put my finger on it but all I want is Panerai  .

Also the strap bug has gotten hold of me, got a Ted Su ammo and have now ordered a Wotancraft strap (pics to come).

I can see bankruptcy looming

Welcome to the club ! ;-)

I guess it must be because of the wonderful design and the value to have such wonderful watch on the arm.

It's like a drug.....and only my Rolex GMT 2 can beat my PAM from time to time : when I wear it at work ;-)

Cheers,
Alex

Cheers Alex :) .

GMT 2 was what I was going to have before I decided to go for the zero. What swayed me in the begining was that I already own a Rolex date and didnt want two of the same brand, all that has gone with Panerai though I WANT THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Panerai certainly has an appeal to it.. I suppose its like owning a Ferrari, you just want more Ferraris. They all kind of look similar, but are different enough to warrant buying (at least in my mind).

That is a good way of putting it, I can see what you mean. :)

i love my 328, i have a few other watches that i also like to wear but the pam is my favorite. the purchasing of straps can also become an expensive hobby. enjoy the madness.

I am also all about the straps... they save me from buying more watches and actually could be considered great value for money in that sense :)

And they are also expensive hobbies, the upkeep is astranomical :D.

Also the Panerai will look just as good 30yrs down the line, no wrinkles or excess baggage!

Well a Breguet is a nice watch too ! I assume more for special events like dinner with Pamela Anderson or for going to the Opera ;-)

Cheers,
Alex
