Hi guys I've got a 2009 PAM000 with a small scratch on the crystal. Is this something I can fix?

I've seen people successfully fix very light crystal scratches with Diamond Paste, but if its quite deep, you likely have to get the crystal replaced.

I've always understood that if you can feel the scratch with a finger nail, it is too deep to polish away but it can be improved.

It's the size of a pin prick, but I can just about feel it with a nail.

Really annoyed with myself. I wear it everyday & I've always been careful. I was in Paris last week & all the little streets have these 4ft high metal poles. I was reading a map & my boss called my name, so I turned around & caught the watch.

I guess if my arm was a couple of mm lower it could of been allot worse.

Typical.

I'm debating this too. Have two that are nearly impossible to see (but I can on occasion, you know how that is) from the wife's diamond hitting the crystal as we passed by one another one morning. Not any worse that a couple scratches I have on the case though, so meh.

No harm it buying some diamond paste and giving it a rub to see if it will fix! I think a set of diamond pastes is only about $30 for 5-6 different progressive grits

I'll get to it at some point, like when my immense list of projects is getting smaller LOL
