Post subject:  My first Panerai has arrived!
Hey guys, I've been primarily a Breitling, Omega, Rolex guy, but finally decided to go with a Panerai. Got this gorgeous 299 yesterday, and I am thrilled. :D I always liked them, but having worn it for a few hrs, I am hooked! Love the clean look. Can't wait to get some nice straps for it. Please excuse the quick pics, but I thought I'd have to share.

Great looking one there! I just picked my first one up a couple of weeks ago. I went for the 351. I was at first surprised how "big" the dial was, especially in comparison to my Breitlings. I put the rubber strap on and actually like it better than the brown, croc / aligator "nicer" strap. The quick change function is pretty cool. I, like yourself, will be in the strap market for a while.

Welcome to Panerai ownership 8-)

I predict a handful of straps, (checked out the forums list of makers?) and another Panerai will find their way to you real soon :P
