Hello there
First post here on the panerai source, panerai has been growing on me in the past year, but i am looking for a panerai i once saw but never figure what model it was, can you help me identify?

it had
-12, 3 and 6 sunken numbers
-second hand on the 9 position
-black pvd coating
-sandwiche case type
-window on the back

dont know if it was a costum pvd or original, but the combination was fantastic, do you know what model was that?

I can't think of any Marina PVD models like you describe with display, it might have been custom.

It sounds like a 111 that's been PVD'd, unless the one on the left escaped?

I believe these two were ceramic/composite cased 'demos' that never hit production, sadly :(

The items shown never hit production but you can easily have any model PVD coated to look the same, though depending on your geographical location, it may be troublesome to acheive.

The sunken numbers you refer to are known as 'sandwich dials', where the luminous elements are in a 'sandwich' below the top dial and above the bottom plate. It is literally sandwiched between the two.
