Post subject:  History about my Panerai

Hi guys!

A year ago I got bought a 2006 Panerai Luminor Marina for my 21st birthday - I have always loved Panerai's so this was the perfect gift. Recently I have been looking at getting another Panerai and have noticed that on the face of my watch there seems to be a logo that I have not seen on any other Panerai - there is also the wording FIRENZE 1860 on the back and then another logo underneath with the following two numbers - OP 6617 and PB 529127.

I have attached two photos to show the markings and the logos.

I have no idea what these mean and was wondering if anyone could provide any information as to why these markings are on my watch.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help.

Thanks in advance guys!

The markings Firenze 1860 symbolizes the year and location that Panerai was founded.. it was founded in 1860 in Firenze (Florence), Italy. The logos are logos... I'm not sure what you mean by why they are on your watch.. the same reason any logo is on any other watch or product.

That is simply the way the PAM005 is supposed to look:
