As I understand it, straps can be installed on bracelet watches, but not the other way around. Someone correct me if this is inaccurate. |

That is incorrect. Bracelets can be installed on most of the Regular Luminor watches, just not Radiomirs and 1950's watches movements. For example, you can install a Bracelet on the 000. |

Well, I don't think its any more than you'd pay for the bracelet version of a watch. I can't remember how much those Panerai Bracelets run exactly, but the new ones are a bit cheaper.. I think they clock in around $1000USD or slightly above. |

A current trend with many new watch releases, believe it or not, are the mesh-style metal bracelets. These can be had for $40 or so if you look around. Of course, fit feel and appearance is a personal thing, but they are comfortable. |
