Post subject:  PAM312 plus various straps

I've been lurking here for a while but this is my first post. I got my 312 about a month and a half ago and have been consumed by strap hunting for this great timepiece. I've read pretty much every review on aftermarket straps on Panerai Source so a big thanks to the admin for posting them as they helped point me toward some very nice strap makers that I had not considered before such as Europelli and Toshi. So far the damage has been, not counting the 2 OEM straps, 6 straps in hand and 3 enroute to me since purchasing the 312. I've also owned a couple of nice 24mm straps before the Panerai so there will be an abundance of strap options for my 312. I just hope the excellent strap changing mechanism can take the abuse. :P

Here are some shots I've taken so far with the 312 and various straps (Mods, I hope it's OK to name the strap makers. If there's an anti-shilling rule, please do what you must. I just think it's helpful to others to post the source of the straps):

OEM rubber (I've actually yet to wear the watch on the OEM croc strap)

Red12 copperhead (custom made almost a year ago. goes great with the 312 IMHO)

Nice selection of straps there, and glad I could help!.. seems like most of these are not guys that I am familiar with. Who is Orb?

Orb straps are made by a guy in France. Here's his website. I really like the one I've posted above, but his straps seems to generally be very hard and stiff, so perhaps they are not for everyone.

Having just received a new Toshi strap today, I would have to say the Orb strap is maybe only a smidge stiffer, so I guess it's pretty standard for a thick leather strap.

Well, Toshi is probably more on the stiffer side, and I think it has something to do with the type of way he glues the strap becase the Toshi straps really conform to the curve of the wrist and stay curved more so than most straps out there - This reminds me of OEM Breitling Straps. The majority of the straps out there do not stay curved to your wrist as much as Toshi's.
