I cant believe the sheer amount of watches I bought today!!! In the Panerai arena alone I got four models, I just could not resist what with the very limited avilability and the impeding price hike I had to make my move now or never. It was now!!! The mother of all capers!!!

Pics soon my friends, a base and a contemporary model are infront of me as I type, another base to arrive tommorow and a 1950 soon. Woo I am doing the mother of all pee pee dances right now

Now for strap-buying. What size do i need to get for a 45MM Rad again? Good thing I can interchange straps between these two 44MM Luminors!!!

The 45mm Rad uses a 26mm wide strap.

I gotta tell you guys, I never was big on manual wind watches. In fact I never owned one before. Now that I discovered the joy of a manual wind I can say my prioraties have changed. In fact my next PAM housed in a 1950 case should arrive soon enough. Perhaps in.....8 days????!!!!

I don't think they have - you'll notice this thread started a while back, and since, Altair has been through some personal/financial problems - I'm sure he'll let us know what's going on when he's ready. I seem to remember he wasn't too impressed by the 1950 that he was offered though.

Hi guys,

Yep Sporty is right. After some personal issues where I sold a number of watches and had to turn down the PAM270, I had to slowly start rebuilding my collection. When I finally got another chance to get the 270, I was uninterested as I fell in love with the 233. The dial to me was just so balanced. The 9 AND seconds dial on the 270 ruin it for me.

Just did a deal with a fellow on another forum for his K series PAM 233, and can hardly wait :D
