Hi all,

i have just got a 212 and love it and would like to get additional strap(s)!

Can anyone advise if the 1950 straps are any different to the Luminor ( i would like to use the deployant clasp)

Also if anyone has any strap recommendations colour / skin / make etc i would like to hear about them

Cheers

Gav :D

What exactly do you mean by "1950" straps?

In general the Luminors are 24/22mm - 24mm at the lugs, 22mm at the buckle end - at least for the OEM straps.

Other after market straps can be 24/24 but you'll need aftermarket buckles too...

The vast majority of aftermarket straps are made for ordinary tang type buckles, there are very few (But they do exist) aftermarket straps for the deployant.

I tend to buy OEM as I can actually see and touch them before I buy them...but there are some superb aftermarket straps out there - Simona, Dirk, Greg Stevens etc - for a more detailed list check here

seeing the admin's aftermarket strap reviews i decided to buy a couple (1 for luminor and 1 for radiomir) from strap culture. there were priced more toward my budget and offered 15% on top of that. i also like the fact they're 24/24, 26/26 and don't taper off toward the end like oems. they have a big selection.
