Hello Everyone,
I am From belgium and new here on this forum and have a question?
Want to buy an panerai and like the opinion of some panerai specialists of this forum.
The watch is a 40mm with a black dial and a stainless bracelet.
The selles claims it is a pam 70
The marks on the back are: OP6560
BB1127xxx
G1646/1900
Can somebody tell me if it is right for this watch?

Thanks

That is not correct. PAM70 was made in C & D model years, not G and also came with leather, not stainless. Though stainless could be purchased after I suppose.

What you describe sounds like a PAM48, with a stainless braceleted added:

It has the correct millesimation for G year and looks as you describe. But again, no bracelet.

Looks like its a PAM50. I think in the early days of Panerai, they did not number very well. Even though the millesimation says 1900 pieces, because it is the same watch as the PAM48, it still says 1900, but could be 600 pieces.

Have added a few pictures of the watch and the bracelet , should i be worried about the autenticity of the watch and the bracelet.?
Is there a chance that it is a fake?

Mvg

I agree with Admin, it certainly looks like a PAM 50 and from the pictures appears genuine, the single deployant button is correct for that era and inspries some confidence. As the watch is marked as one of 1900 that would be correct for a PAM48 (strap version of the PAM50) that a bracelet has been added to at some point later! That would be be my assessment fwiw.

My personal advice as you seem uncertain is to walk away from the deal and keep your money safe. There is always another deal to be done, and if from a dealer you can always check better than on a private purchase deal.

In summary, it looks OK to me as a PAM 48 plus added bracelet, but if you are not 100% comfortable, simply don't buy it.
