did a local trade. i was loving a logo dial and was deciding between the 005 or the 000. not sure if i made the right choice going base but i am LOVING it so far  ...now onto an aftermarket strap. the 000 is pretty easy anything would look good with it!

Can't go wrong with the 000!

I just got a strap in from Dangerous9 Straps, pretty amazing stuff. He has some of the most unique and appealing finishes I've ever seen. He starts with natural veggie tanned leather and creates the colors himself, and then even numbers each strap. He's a bit more than some with most prices around $135, but very nice.

Beautifull watch, so simplistic compared to most. Really classy looking watch, I can't wait for mine!

Cheers

thanks guys. i traded an iwc aquatimer and even though iwc is probably my favorite brand i am so much more happy wearing the 000 than the AT. i'm ordering a strap from peter/gunny. not mean to shill or anything (since it's such a small group here anyways :)) but i find his straps pretty affordable and i like how comfortable and vintage-looking the straps are.

also big surprise i find the OEM leather pretty robust.

p.s. admin you got me interested in the dangerous9 straps...where does he advertise? (FOUND HIM)

Glad you found him.. all the strapmakers I mention can be found in my Aftermarket strap sections along with reviews if I have written any.. Gunny's straps do look really nice. I'm going to grab one of those one day too! Seem like a great value.

got my first couple of straps in for the 000. i don't think any strap can look bad on the logo, so weird.

love the white stitching on this black, makes it more sporty:

the other choice:

000 prepped:

well by the placement of the buckle you know which one it was lol:

i like the classic panerai look, but will strap on the black if i feel like dressing up...

hey coop,

just a couple generic straps from AC corner in p.com. one is a pantast and the other is lederarts...they cost about $40 each. i made sure to ask if the leather is soft before buying, i think i'm over the stiff ammo that some other strapmakers have. to be honest it's mostly the 000, any strap would at least look semi-good with it. i saw all these photos of a tan vintage-looking leather on the zero and knew i gotta have one.

still waiting for the gunny...he must be getting more popular because a few months back the turnaround time was 2 weeks, now it's 5!
