Wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but a guy I know was selling a 183, and I wanted to add a base Radiomir to the collection so the opportunity presented itself and I bought me a 183 Black Seal. I'm pretty stoked to get it.. should be a nice addition to the collection!

Might make a nice in-between jump to an in-house Rad... still not sure if I like the Radiomir style enough to buy an in-house one though.. I'll have to wear this one for a while first.

I have a 183 and it is one of my favs in the collection.
Every once in a while I think of putting it up for sale but back off (Id like to get a rose radiomir).
I recently got a nice croc strap for mine, to change up the oem calf, and it looks great!

Congrats, youll enjoy it!

I'm loving the 183 so far... actually like it a lot better than I remember liking it when I first tried one on. It might be because of the OEM strap that was on the 210 I tried on. I think I just don't like the OEM strap.. I have this one on a 26x26 Kaktus and its amazing....

A guy just told me today that the 183 didn't really suit me as well as a Breitling

Not even in the same league.... There is no that a rad doesn't suite you. A rad suites everyone.

Not for me anyway. Even if Breitlings are good watches it just lacks that something special that a Panerai has....a sort of uniqness.

They're very different watches. But it does seem like the majority of people that are collecting Panerai that used to own Breitling feel they have "moved up".

Agree. Have had a seamaster and a aquaracer, somehow those including breitling doesn't do it any more for me. I could have gotten a new blackbird for a very good price some 20% lower then retail price, and that is a nice watch.....very tempted I realized that I would not get the Panerai out of my head even if I bought this nice watch.

Ended up recently with a 312. No regrets what so ever, now the only thing I would like to have is a nice Rad. But financial situation doesn't allow two in that price class watches, later maybe.

+1 :D

I have those rolexes, breits and omegas... ( Oh, dont get me wrong, they are really good watches ) but its just that the PAM gives me an extra feel of "move very very up to the sky"

cheers
