I just came back from my panerai dealer, and by far my favorite panerai there was the 288. I tried it on, and it had my name all over it. I looked at the price tag, and it said $18,000. The price list on this site said that it was around $8000.

Can someone tell me, what is the correct list price?

18K? i dont know, but i checked the price list and used 288's on other forums that are for sale are selling around the 7K range.
