I was visiting New York City this weekend and stopped by TOURNEAU TIME MACHINE on 57th Ave. For those who haven't been it's an awesome spot. Four floors full of goodies! I was checking out their Panerai selection looking for a white dial which has really grown on me after watching Admin's great review of his PAM 114. Anyhow, the salesman suggested I hurry up and by soon because they are expecting prices to go up about 10% in the next few months....WOW! Has anyone heard anything similar? Wasn't sure if this was just another selling tactic.

I think it was an age old selling tactic. I have a PAM 090 on order from my local AD. Who in the past never discounted Panerai, and they had no problem giving me almost 20% off. It is no secret that the higher end watch companies are feeling the economy woe's. I have been to that Tourneau and it is worth the stop. But don't look for any deals from them.

Almost 20% off! Wow, where is this? I might have to pay a visit, do tell! I've never received anything more than a free strap with all my Panerai purchases and I have about 5 local AD's in my area (washington dc)

Here in Luxembourg, 20% off is no problem as well. You only need to ask and pay cash!

Just had a price increase on the 1st of January in the UK, however have been informed that there going to be ANOTHER price increase later on in the year.

Panerai dont you just love em...

You can tell with all their new models that they are positioning themselves higher in the market now.

I'll likely be removing the pricelist from the site here and not be adding anymore. They have flexed their legal muscles at me.
