Hi everybody!
I am very sad, because I had to give my Pam320 back to the dealer. I bought it in December 09 and it worked very accurate since the first day.

As I checked the accuracy every day, I noticed a difference of -6" last week. So I tried to change the position of the watch during the night. I changed between dial on top and dial down, but the difference still was at -5" or -6" per day. One night, the position of the watch was crown down. During that night, the difference was -20"!!! That morning, I decided to get the watch to the dealer as so as I had time.

The next night, I went to bed round midnight, the position of the watch was dial on top. The next morning, I wanted to check the time, and what did I notice: the watch had stopped working!!!!! :o

Yesterday I gave my Pam to my dealer. He will check it first and then he will send it back to Panerai. I'll be 6-8 weeks without a Panerai.

But I hope everything will be fine when I get it back!

Has anybody here met similar problems with the new P.900X movements?

I got my PAM312 back last weekend after 6 weeks of it being back at Panerai. I got it at the end of August but by mid November it was regularly losing time. It was losing 30 mins over night so had to send it back...

I would be interested to to know if anyone else has had problems with the new movement?

Thx

DT

Swiss,
thank you for your statement. What was the result? How does your 312 work now?
Regards,
Tom

I have no had any problems with mine, but it is not a 312. The 312 of course has Panerai's in-house caliber.. while it is a beautiful movement with very nice stats, it is still new and unproven in real world conditions over long periods of time.

Last wednesday, my 320 came back from sercive in Amsterdam. It seems to be fixed. It ran with +3,5 seconds per 24 hours. I'd say that is a good result. I hope it will never stop running again! :)

Hi,

Sorry it's taken a while to reply! I got the watch back after 6 weeks and it has worked perfectly since. Has anyone else had problems with the new 9xxx movement?

My 320 still works fine. It runs at +1,5 sec per day, and I am really satisfied with that! :)
