I just got my new Panera 252 Nort Pole BNIB and I have notice that there is some very small blue spots of colour in the date window...it is no scratch and no items or pollution in the magyfining glass above the date marker...no damages and these small colour spots move around if I wiev the watch from different angels. This is my 5 Panerai and I have never seen this on watches I have had before. I went to teh local dealer is new to the Paneri brand and we checked a few of the watches in his suply and there where black spots on the one withe black dial and white in the one with whit dial in the magnefying glass above the date marker on all the watches we looked at. I guess this is an reflection in the date glass from the colour of the dial but sice I have not seen this in the Panerais i have owned before I am not sure. any one have a good answer for me?? :?: :?:

haha... its just the light reflecting off the curved part of the magnifier.. if you hold your hand over the top of the watch, blocking the light source from directly hitting the watch face, you will see the "spots" go away. It is just the reflection of light.

Hello I am having the same problem, somtimes it even looks like a half circle smudge. I did not see these "reflections" for the first three month of owning my pam 88
can anyone tell me if sending in for service would do any good? Its really bothering me and it is not just dots. At certain angles it looks like a smudges from the inside. I realize now it is just a reflection but never the less. Could it be an imperfection of the date window that could be replaced? One other thing is there a customer service number for panerai?

thank you in advance
