I don't care for Pam 90 with the PR meter and hash marks... I like the 104 as an automatic with a cleaner dial,
also look good at the 24 Sub, it is very impressive when seen in person.
The 88 GMT has a busier dial than most... but there is something about the silver seconds sub dial that is very classy looking.

All the 1950's case models ( 312, 243 etc. ) are nicer looking, in my opinion...but they sit higher on the wrist and cost over a grand more than their counterparts.

One of the things I find really appealing on a Panerai is the gorgeous large crystal view "exhibition back", note: not all them have it...the 312 does,
and the 111 historic is another one that does...but 111 is a hand wind w/ seconds sub dial, no date...my favorite !
Happy looking, the hunt is a lot of fun ...take your time !

Best to go and try them on 1st....the only problem with the panerai brand is the overwhelming variety. I too lust for them all but my bank account tends to say differently. I narrowed it down by going with classic look of the historic models. I feel going with one of them, 000,111,112, etc... will capture the simplistic beauty of panerai without breaking the bank. I too love the 250.

I had a 250, but after a while, the somewhat more modern dial and bezel limited the number of straps that could be used with it. Eventually I decided that the standard bezels and more historic looking models were the most versatile, but hey, to each his own!

Wait a minute..."had" a 250? what happened? Was it put on the trading block? I would love one of those but currently out of my price range. I watch you videos all the time just to see your pam250

I hear ya,
most people feel the same way ...
Panerai is all about the elegance of simplicity,
but the white dial with contrasting green luminous hands and hour markers is a beautiful sight.
I like the chrono 251 but I'd still have to go with a Sub 243 or 24 if I wanted something other than an Historic.

Nice!! Now you just need to add a couple dozen straps to your collection and you'll feel like you own a couple dozen watches! :D

major congrats on the 328! i love the ss band on a panerai...adds an extra layer of class and uniqueness to the watch as you don't see a bracelet pam everyday.
