I'm going to purchase a Panerai in July. which of these would be a better investment?
PAM088 or PAM321?

I think the 88 is nicer between the two..I hate reserve indicators on panerai but im not a big fan of the cyclops style date on the 88 either. I've seen the 88 on various color straps making it very versatile but i guess all panerais are. I was at my AD today and they had a 297 and a 161 which is basically an 88 on a steel bracelet-HOT! Have you considered the 320...looks good on brown croc

If it must be one of these two, then I would choose the 321. But I don't like the circular PR-indicator neither. When buying my 320, I was going for a 321 as well, but when I saw it in real, the dial was not clean enough. The 320 has a PR-indicator as well, it is on the back and it is the same price as the 321. Just my 2 cents.

All three are great watches !!! Hard choice to make.

Of them, the PAM320 is my favourite, but I would pick the PAM321 over the PAM88, as I prefer the in-house movement. :) Also, the PAM88 is a bit of a busier face, which is less classic Panerai.
