Hi All-

Just pulled the trigger on a new PAM164 over the weekend... now the long wait for the package to arrive

I had a question though. It appears the case back listed the watch as part of a production run of 1500 total, but this looks like its been 2000 per year. I haven't seen the production numbers for 2009 and 2010 on this model so not sure. Could it be as old as a 2005, which had 1500 pieces that year?

Any help would be appreciated!

Doubtful if the watch was sold as new by an AD. Did you ask what letter is before the numbers? If 2005 it will be an "H"

I can't find the numbers for 2009 or 2010 for the 164, so can't be sure, but it's entirely possible that there were only 1500 made in either 2009 or 2010.

Yeah - it was new from the AD with the shrink wrap still covering the crystal and case (although that can easily be replaced). It was in pristine condition and it certainly didn't look old. I did see the model number, but I left all the paperwork with the watch to be shipped. I can look when it arrives.

I got it from Torneau, which I know they have quite the retail chain. Not sure how they stack up in terms of pricing and service, but I thought the sale went well. I have never purchased from them before, so not sure if there are any "horror" stories from that AD or not.

Yep - just confirmed that this piece was made in 2010 ("M").
