Hello everyone, I'm new here, but have been lusting after a Panerai for quite some time and have finally decided to purchase one. I was wondering if you guys can direct me to a dealer where I can seal the deal. I'm located in the San Diego area. I have no preference of buying in person or ordering from somewhere. Just looking for a good dealer to buy from. Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome to both the forum and the sickness

Sadly living in Europe as I do, I'm not much use in terms of recommendations for the US - however Chad at the Beverley Hills Boutique is reputed as being a very up-front guy - might be worth a visit.

Thanks for the info! I'll give him a call. I was interested in the submersible models, more specifically the PAM 24 or 25. Does anyone know how much I can expect to pay for each of these timepieces?

The 2008 US price list shows 6300$ and 6800$US respectively - sadly the prices have just gone up

If i were to get a submersible, I would get the PAM243 1000m model, with the 1950 style case. Very cool.

Alright...

I've been a Breitling guy for quite some time, but have now decided that my next watch will be a Panny. I'm partial to the Luminor series because of the crown guard, and I like the sandwich dial. I really love the 8 and 10 day versions, but they are a bit price restrictive. I'm leaning towards a Luminor Marina. What kind of price can I typically anticipate negotiating on either this, or the base model Luminor? Happily, the Panerai AD is also my Breitling AD, so we have a bit of a history.

Thanks, guys!

I don't think you'll see much if any movement as far as price goes on a base or marina. Maybe they will give you a token amount like 3-5% off, but typically there is no room for negotiation as they do not need to drop the price.. in fact, its hard to get a Marina or a Base even if you want one. There are always waiting lists for those models at my AD.

I'm thinking likely a PAM111. Roughly what should I expect to pay in USD? Suprisingly, my AD has several models in stock, this being one of them.

The 111 was 4600$US up until the latest price increase - expect to pay between 5% and 9% more.

If your AD has them in stock, doesn't he show the prices?
