Hey SB,
I just adore that 219. Can you get it with the crown on the other side?

It's true - why have one the same way round as everybody else! That and the fact that there were only 400 made (for that model year)...makes it just a little bit special to me

SUPERB !!!

It is amazing how they all look relatively similar, yet each one has its own beauty and spirit

Errrrr, hello I'm new to all this "watch stuff". Not sure about these Panerais............., anyone know of a good BREITLING forum! ;)

That's a great group shot there Sporty! BUT I must say I reckon that 1950 need to go back on the black leather. Of course if you can't care for him properly, I'll take him off your hands........ at a slight discount of course. :P

Really glad to see you found your way over D8 - as to the 253, she's already back on the black (carbon) strap for a change.

Interestingly, the 270 comes with a brown alligator - which I'm keeping, as I think it looks just right...

Despite the frenzy of strap buying that everyone goes thru when they get a Panerai, I have to say I prefer the OEM straps, particularly because there are very few independant strap makers that provide for the deployant clasp, which I prefer.

Good to see ya mate

Thanks for the warm welcome Sporty! How did you get the Moderator gig BTW!??? ;)

My signature is going to look a little sparse for the time being at least as I don't think a list of Breitlings is entirely appropriate here!

However, I certainly would like to get myself at least one sometime soon. Apart from the oft mentioned 253, I really just fancy something quite simple from the Pannie stable. I'm thinking maybe a PAM 104 or a 090. Or if I'm feeling really daring maybe a 090 GMT! I think this will be a little way off as I've just cut a deal on new Breitling piece that will be making an appearance on the other forum in hopefully a week or so.

Thanks Altair - the Sub is different isn't it, but I'm looking to make a little collection of Regatta pieces....

Cant stop starring at that damn 270!!!

Have not seen a submersible in person, I am sure it will look better than in pics (as do all PAMs) but it has some tough competition in that pic!!!

My favorites here are the 270, Destro, Luminor Regatta,Logo, and I would not kick the Sub out of bed for stinking up the place
