As I stated in the introductions I am a new comer, I have a Pam 111 in route as we speak, I have already ordered 2 straps from Toshi, but for some reason, I am craving the Pam 88, is this normal. I have a Rolex GMT II S/S Coke edition already, should I go for the Pam 88 or is there something else you would recommend for a newbie. I value all opinions. :?

Perfectly normal. i've yet to own an 88 but its definitely on my long term list. I think the would make a great pair considering the dial is a lot busier than the 111 so go for it. Please do not under-estimate the power of Pam. Once you get one, you'll never be satisfied. Congrats again!

Also, Toshi straps are one of my favorites. He is a great guy to deal with. What color straps did you get. Please post some pics when watch arrives.

The Pam 88 is a nice watch, i once owned the Ti 89 model,

The 88 seems to be a for ever popular model, so i'd say yes, buy one ;)

The PAM88 is a great looking watch, especially if you already have a 111. The 88 has more business on the dial, and adds that extra sophistication. My one friend that has an 88 has had to get it fixed twice, however... both times under warranty.

I'm probably a bit late with this reply but I couldn't resist. I've had my 88 for 17 months now and not a bit of trouble with the watch. I still think it's beautiful and I still get a thrill every time I put it on. I haven't tried any of the Toshi straps as yet....the natural brown alligator strap the 88 came with sets the watch off beautifully. Good luck with your choice...I'm sure the one you make will be the right one.
