Hi,

Being a newbie to the PAM world, would anyone have any experiences in Europe how much discount if any, is to be expected from AD's?

I have been offered 10% off list price on a PAM 333..... just wondering how much I can push him.

Greatful for any tips

Thanks

Al

Hi Al,

10 % discount is already a good value. Maybe you can get even 15 % if you pay cash, but this depends on the store.
Not so easy nowadays to get special discount because the Panerai is a wanted watch.

Good luck and cheers,
Alex

Thanks Alex. I got a 24% discount on my Navitimer from the same AD. But apparently the same doesnt apply to PAMs  I was in New York a couple of months ago and no one, I mean no one in Manhattan would budge on any of the Panerais....so I believe the AD. But I think I will see if I can push him to 20%..... and will settle for 15% ;)

Discounts, officially none of course, depend very much where in the world you are and the model you seek. Less popular models the dealer can't shift easily will attract a better deal than a new or hot model, which they can sell all they can get for retail.

If Vendome/Panerai proceed as planned, one day there will be no AD's just factory controlled boutiques. Discounts then simply wont exist, anywhere. Make the most of it now!
