Hello to the forum,

I’ve always been a watch guy, my first was a 1680 Sub purchased new in 1976, still have it and for thirty plus years it was my daily watch. Discovered Breitling in 2009, and have accumulated a few of those, plus a nice Omega Speedmaster from my wife for our last anniversary. This year, I was looking for something a little different, and had always admired the Panerai’s but thought they were out of my price range. Turns out I could not have been more wrong, and so picked up this 0631 from a local AD. I love that it’s very basic and uncluttered, and it is my first manual wind watch in a long time, which also trips my trigger. Looking forward to learning about the brand and seeing all of your fine watches. Cheers to the forum!
