It's a bit boring today and I would like to use the time to introduce you the Panerai Luminor Flyback 1950 Chrono. Or in other words : PAM 212.
First some facts, details about wearing comfort and afterwards a "few" pictures.
Year of production and how many pieces have been produced :2005 (H) = 800 pieces (I own a "H" Model)
2006 (I) = 900 pieces
2007 (J) = 900 pieces
2008 (K) = 1000 pieces
All together 3600 pieces have been produced between 2005 and 2009. (I assume the amount of fake models of the PAM 212 is much higher)
Official price-list for PAM 212 : 2006 = 7300 Euro
2007 = 7700 Euro
2008 = 7700 Euro
2009 = 7700 Euro
2010 = 7900 Euro
2011 = 8300 Euro
2012 = 8600 Euro

The production of the PAM 212 has been discontinued in the year 2009 and the PAM 361 become to be the successor. Unfortunately the PAM 361 does not have the Tachymeter scale and the "Bubbled Crystal", which is a bit sad.
Two other Panerai Luminor 1950 models with the "Bubbled Crystal" exist : PAM 233 and PAM 270. But those two cost more than 10.000 Euro.
Wearing comfort : Despite of the huge diameter and the thickness of the watch, the wearing comfort is quite good and nearly nothing to complain. The watch will be delivered with an fiber and rubber strap including folding clasp, but those are not really nice to wear and my recommendation would be to get another strap from an Expert like for example Heroic 18.
I wear the watch each day and I just love it. It's fun to wear it and a lovely welcome in compare to all the other watches that you see every day in the street
Accuracy :Please don't stone me to death, but I really don't know how high the discrepancy of the movement is. In matter of fact : I even don't care because if I want to have a perfect demanding watch, than I could but a Quartz watch with transmitter signal
I correct the watch once a months, but only for seconds and not minutes or even hours. Anyway, the watch is CoSC certificated.
Pictures :My conclusions : Wonderful watch with an special extra. A watch that I'll not let go so early.....
Thanks and cheers,
Alex
