I've had my 'Bronzo' for approaching two months, worn it whenever practical and it is slowly developing patina. I don't want anything artificial done with it, as i want it ideally to end up in shades of brown not green. Mostly it has changed from what looked like full on brushed gold to a rich copper colour but my limited camera and skills don't really show this as much as it is 'for real'. The 'new', pictures in the left column and the updated are on the right. The best indicator of overall colour change is the crown guard picture picture. There are a multitude of freckles showing over the case now and the general colour is quite different, and slowly it gets ever more pleasing 8)

Looking good Baz!, as you say the crown guard really shows off the change. One thing I notice is it doesn't have the new strap change mechanism, was there a reason why they did not include it on the bronzo?.

I've no idea why the new button release strap system wasn't used tbh. Maybe machining bronze pins is an issue, maybe the factory was lazy? What you can see are Ti screw bars too! Life would certainly have been easier with the new button system. It may just be a 'vintage thing' as Panerai see it, i obviously don't know.

Love the new richer Copper color that is starting to show! I notice it on the bezel dots too.

All of the five minute markers are now very copper coloured, perhaps because of their polished surface? Curiously the '45' marker is lighter than all the others by a visible margin?

Perhaps i'll take some more pictures in another couple of months
