Cool watch ian, but no sandwich dial and no see through case back means I will stick to the 111 as my favorite Luminor base.

What attracted you to that model? just curious!

The simplicity of the Logo has always appealed - I admit it'll probably not be worn that often, but I just like the look.

Congratulations on a very beautiful and appealing watch!
Are the only differences between 000 and 112, the logo on the 000 and the exhibition back on the 112?
I must say, I do like the minimalist thing about both of these. I find the logo very appealing as well. On the other hand, the 112 dial is even simpler without the logo. I see from the specs, that the 112 movement is listed as OP X and the 000 Logo as OP I. Seemingly, the only difference is in the Power Reserve?
I am wondering also about the difference in cost. My next goal for a new watch will be one or the other. The exhibition back has never really been a very big deal for me.
The logo seems to give the 000 a more retro look. I find both of these models very appealing. I have been on the lookout for some time for a "minimalist" dial, and the more I see of this Panerai dial, the more impressed I am. Also, the thing that really gets me, is that these are really water resistant to 300m, and yet retain the simple styling that I really love! It seems that every other watch of the Diver's type has at least one complication: the calendar. I find this a very unique feature in the Panerai, which makes it all the more appealing to me.
I guess I looked at them before, without really looking. And all the time, there was one type of watch that I really wanted!
It was the simplicity of the Breitling Seawolf dial that really attracted me to that watch, which I got last week.
I think that I will be having a very fun time on this forum as well!
Cheers,
Carl

You found it! Great.

As you say, the only major difference between the two, aside from the movement, is the display back on the 112. The movements have the same power reserve if you read the Officine Panerai site, but not the same if you read the details here...both, however are based on the tried and tested ETA 6497.

The 'Logo' is considered desirable by collectors simply for the Logo on the dial. It's a base model, simplicity itself, and the addition of the OP logo appeals to the Panerai traditionalists.

I actually prefer the sandwich dial of the 112, but some prefer the painted dial which can be seen quite clearly in the photos of the Logo.

You pays your money, you takes your choice...

Can anyone tell me if this model is now discontinued? I can't seem to find it on the Panerai website. This model and the PAM112 are what initially intrigued me. However, the more I see of the Radiomir, the more I am drawn to it as well. I love the crown on it, with the logo. It is even more simplistic than the 112 and 000 without the crown protector. I will own one of these three eventually, and the Logo is still a possibility. Any more info on it will be greatly appreciated.
BTW, I love the choice of the dark brown strap. It looks amazing with the black dial. Or is it black?
Cheers,
Carl

Shock! Horror!! They've discontinued the logo? I don't know, but you're right in saying it's no longer on the web site - I'll check today.
