It seems some eagle-eyed forum members have noticed the lack of the PAM0000 'Logo' on the Officine Panerai web site - this has led to a world-wide panic, and Logo owners are no longer wearing their watches outside as they fear being mugged and their beloved Panerai being cut from their wrist...reports are coming in of paneristi only going out in pairs, taking large dogs and baseball bats to beat off potential muggers...

C A L M everyone - as we all know, modifications and updates to the official web site often take months to occur, and there are still errors. It transpires that the Logo is not being discontinued, but that the original picture from the site was very tired and is reportedly on holiday somewhere in Greece. Once fully recuperated, I'm assured it will be put back in pride of place as the first 'Base'.

Spare a thought for Sig Bonati - he maintains the website in his lunchtimes, and has had quite a lot on, what with SIHH etc. and restoring the Eilean which takes up most of his weekends as well.

;)

I'm real new to this whole Panerai world, and I was really wondering myself. I started out with a love affair with Historic PAM112, now I am being swayed to the Radiomir Basic, but also very interested in the logo 000.
I will probably only have one Panerai - when, I have no idea - but it will be minimalistic, and one of the above three models.
Cheers,
Carl
